The Challenge
As part of its media relations strategy, EARTH University wanted to increase its media presence through an alliance with a communication medium.
The Solution
Comunicación Corporativa Ketchum arranged the Collaboration Agreement between EARTH and El Financiero. In pursuit of this, the agency encouraged Mrs. Yanancy Noguera, the publication director, to visit the University Campus.
The Results
EARTH bought 36 annual subscriptions of El Financiero, which were used by students and faculty members as a reference source for the classes
El Financiero applied a 40% discount on the subscription amounts.
El Financiero granted EARTH 3 full pages dedicated to informative and promotional materials
El Financiero published the results of 1 to 3 EARTH students research projects once a year
El Financiero will sponsor those non-commercial EARTH events in need of media coverage
El Financiero will published at least one article or one interview every two months, being the author/interviewed one of the University's professors
EARTH is committed to support El Financiero in the Pineapple crop special report spread and also in other agricultural or environmental related pieces
